Atzaró Agroturismo Hotel
Citorah says On the Sant Joan road, on a 13-hectare estate of orange groves, with a 43-metre pool among palms and a spa. It reopened for the 2026 season on 14 March.
Neighbourhood · Ibiza
This is a different Ibiza: narrower roads, fewer bars and more countryside.
Best for returning visitors who’ve done the clubs · couples on a wellness trip or honeymoon · anyone who wants to stay at an agroturismo, a farm turned into a hotel
Wrong for first-timers; club tourists; anyone who doesn’t want to drive.

Citorah PickHotel · The north
Citorah says A five-star with 69 rooms near Sant Miquel, on top of a 180-metre cliff. Its Cascadas Suspendidas, eight pools at different temperatures with views of the Mediterranean, are a destination in themselves; children must be at least 12. Its season runs from late April to the end of October.
Citorah PickHotel · The north
Citorah says A rural hotel near Sant Rafel, in the middle of the island, so less remote than the rest of this list. It’s built around a family home more than 300 years old, and the tourism register lists it as open all year.
Citorah PickRestaurant · The north
Citorah says The agroturismo hotel, on a 300-year-old finca, opens its main restaurant to non-guests, for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, with vegetables, fruit and herbs from its organic garden.
Citorah PickRestaurant · The north
Citorah says Eat at Restaurante Elements on the headland above the south end of the sand — Elements is more a beach-club-plus-wellness complex than a quiet sand-side chiringuito these days, but the bullit de peix (around €38) and the house albariño (€22) are real and the sea view is unbeatable.
Citorah PickRestaurant · The north
Citorah says Eat at Restaurante Cala Xarraca, the family-run place built into the rocks on the left as you face the water — going on 30+ years, grilled dorada around €22, bullit de peix €28, house white €18 a bottle, cash preferred.
The catch Shut Tuesdays out of season — ring before the drive.
Citorah PickMarket · The north
Citorah says The Sant Joan craft market fills the village square in front of the church every Sunday of the year, from 9:30 to 16:00.
Citorah PickMarket · The north
Citorah says The hippy market at Las Dalias, with more than 200 stalls, is near Sant Carles de Peralta, in Santa Eulària’s municipality. Its 2026 schedule ran from February to December: Saturdays all season, Sundays too outside June to September, and a night market in summer.
Citorah PickBeach · The north
Citorah says What it has instead is the sunset drum circle the cove has been famous for since the 70s — though since 2020 the Sant Joan municipality has imposed restrictions on the Sunday sessions in particular (crowd, parking, noise), so the schedule now drifts: informal drumming most evenings, the bigger Sunday gatherings sometimes officially curtailed and sometimes happening anyway.
Wrong for If you wanted loungers, cocktails on tap, or a flat shore for toddlers
Citorah PickBeach · The north
Citorah says It’s the island’s longest-running officially nudist stretch, which keeps the day-trippers and bachelor parties away and means the vibe is older, quieter, mostly couples and regulars. Pick this over Salinas when you want the sea without the EDM and the €35 sunbeds.
Wrong for Families with small kids, anyone shy about nudity, and anyone who needs a beach club.
Citorah PickBeach · The north
Citorah says What you get: a small horseshoe of dark coarse sand and pebbles maybe 80 metres across, hemmed in by rust-coloured rock that drops fast into clear water — proper snorkelling depth within ten strokes of shore, octopus and bream if you bring a mask.
Wrong for If you wanted a flat sandy expanse for a toddler or a beach club lunch with bottle service.
Citorah PickBeach · The north
Citorah says Portinatx, a former fishing port, has several small sandy coves.

If you came to Ibiza for the music, this is your address. Playa d’en Bossa, south of Ibiza Town, is the island’s longest beach, with more than 2.5 kilometres of sand, and ibiza.travel, the island’s tourism site, calls it the epicentre of Ibiza’s nightlife.
Best for first-timers focused on the superclubs · groups doing several nights of music with no interest in driving anywhere

San Antonio (Sant Antoni de Portmany) is where the sunset bars are.
Best for sunset-bar regulars · younger groups · clubbers happy to take the bus in summer
Neighbourhood · 9 places
Ibiza Town (Eivissa) is the island’s capital. Its old town, Dalt Vila, looks down over the port from inside 16th-century Renaissance walls, and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.
Best for returning visitors · couples · anyone who wants the dinner-and-marina version of the trip

Santa Eulària des Riu is on the east coast. Aguas de Ibiza, in the town, puts itself half an hour by car from Ibiza Town or the airport.
Best for couples · families · second-trip visitors who’ve done the clubs and want to slow down
