The Best Boat Parties in Ibiza 2026: An Honest Ranking

Pukka Up, Float Your Boat and Oceanbeat ranked: where each leaves from, what 2026 tickets cost and included, the days and times, and the San Antonio rules to know before you book.

Checked First-hand

The short version

  • Three of the big Ibiza boat parties, compared: Pukka Up and Float Your Boat from Sant Antoni, and Oceanbeat from Vanilla Beach on Playa d'en Bossa.
  • 2026 prices: Float Your Boat was the cheapest, at €49 boat-only, or from €79 with club entry. Pukka Up was €65 boat-only. Oceanbeat was €86, with a 3-hour open bar included, so an open bar doesn't necessarily cost extra.
  • Read this first: GOV.UK's Spain travel advice says local laws in parts of San Antonio ban open bars and organising party boat trips. Pukka Up and Float Your Boat both leave from Sant Antoni.
  • 2027: nothing firm yet. Pukka Up says "Club Packages to be confirmed for 2027!", and none of the three has published 2027 dates.
  • The "best" one depends on what you want; this guide is honest about each.
  • For a group of 8 or more, price up a private charter too.

A bad boat party is an evening you can't get off. A good one is an afternoon you'll bring up unprompted for years.

The Ibiza boat-party scene rewards research the same way clubs do, except louder and wetter.

This is a ranking for 2026, compiled from the operators' own 2026 schedules, prices and terms. No affiliate mark-ups; no sponsored placements; just what's worth your money.

Sant Antoni's party-boat rules

GOV.UK's travel advice for Spain says local laws in parts of some Balearic resorts, including San Antonio (Sant Antoni de Portmany), ban open bars and the organising of pub crawls and party boat trips. It doesn't say exactly which streets the ban covers. Pukka Up and Float Your Boat both leave from Sant Antoni's Passeig de la Mar, and Float Your Boat advertises an open bar. Oceanbeat checks in at Vanilla Beach on Playa d'en Bossa, though its terms say check-in may move to San Antonio. Read GOV.UK's advice before you book.

From each operator's own 2026 pages and terms. Always check the operator's official site for your date.

1. Pukka Up: the dependable one

If this is your first Ibiza boat party, take Pukka Up. It has been running since 2003 and calls itself "the original Ibiza boat party". The format is simple: a two-hour pre-party at Rio Ibiza, on Sant Antoni's Passeig de la Mar, then a three-hour sunset boat. Every 2026 ticket included a welcome drink and two sangrias.

In 2026 it sailed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 2 May to 3 October. The boat left at 18:00 from May to August and at 17:00 in September and October, and was back about three hours later. You had to swap your ticket for a wristband at Rio Ibiza by 17:00 (16:00 in September and October), and latecomers lost boat and club entry with no refund.

Line-ups: Pukka Up doesn't publish a line-up for each date; like the other two, it lists residents and past guests. Show up for the experience, not a specific name.

What to bring: swimwear under your outfit, a small waterproof bag, and biodegradable sunscreen. Leave your own drinks behind: Pukka Up's 2026 terms say "No outside drinks allowed".

Packages with a club night

Pukka Up sells packages that bundle the boat with O Beach and Amnesia: in 2026, €75 with O Beach, €80 with Amnesia, or €95 with both. The Amnesia entry was valid before 12:30 AM, and the club wristbands were only handed out at the pre-party. The packages didn't cover Amnesia's opening and closing parties or some special nights, among them Cocoon. You avoid the wash-out trap of "we'll head back to the hotel for an hour first": the boat's back about three hours after it leaves, and you're already dressed.

2. Float Your Boat: the music-first choice

Float Your Boat is the music-led one. The vibe reads "we came for the DJ", not "we came for the photos".

Their signature is the sunset party, for over-18s, from the port of San Antonio. In 2026 it sailed only on Tuesdays and Saturdays: you boarded at 17:30 for an 18:00 departure and were back about 21:00, and in September everything was an hour earlier, with the meeting point closing at 16:00. Sunset from the water is one of the better things you can do in Ibiza, and a 9 PM return leaves time for dinner before a club.

In 2026 boat-only tickets were €49, and combo tickets with club or pool-party entry started at €79. Its home page showed the party "From €45.00", and by October the sunset party showed as sold out.

Float Your Boat's own pages don't agree on the details, so check what your ticket includes when you book. The FAQ promises an open bar; the party page lists two welcome sangrias and a paid bar. The cruise is three hours on one page and three and a half on another. And the clubs in the combo are Eden on Saturdays and Es Paradis on the party page, but Hï, Ibiza Rocks, O Beach and Eden in the FAQ.

Downside: two sailings a week, against Pukka Up's three, so there are fewer dates to choose from.

3. Oceanbeat: the open-bar one

Oceanbeat checks in at Vanilla Beach on Playa d'en Bossa, and its site is now oceanbeat.com. It lists a maximum of 200 guests a party. Its terms say check-in may vary from Playa d'en Bossa to San Antonio, so check your booking. The vibe is closer to a floating festival than a party boat.

It's the one with the bar in the price. In 2026 its afternoon and sunset parties cost €86 for the Standard ticket, which includes three hours of beer, sangria, soft drinks and water from the bar, plus free club entry. The VIP tiers were €109 (Silver) and €129 (Gold, with the VIP deck and a shuttle). Outside food and snacks aren't allowed.

Its sunset party page gives check-in at 17:00, departure at 18:00 and return at 21:00, but its FAQ says 18:30 to 21:30. Go by your booking.

Who it's for: groups who'd rather pay once with the drinks included; anyone staying on Playa d'en Bossa.

Who it's not for: anyone who hates crowds. Two hundred people on a deck is exactly that many.

Small charter boats: the smart move for groups

For a group of 8 to 15, a private charter is worth pricing up against the tickets above. On Click&Boat, Ibiza boat rentals ran from €218 to €1,635 a day when we checked in October 2026, with an average of €591, and its 8-hour skippered trips for up to 11 or 12 people were listed from €700 and from €1,250. Prices depend on the dates. In return:

  • Your boat. Your music. Your pace.
  • No queue.
  • Your own stops, weather and skipper permitting.
  • Conversation. You can hear each other.

Compare listings on a rental platform such as Click&Boat, and read each boat's own reviews. Book early for July or August, and ask whether you can play your own music. Bring a bag of ice for drinks.

When to book

Boats can sell out, so book once your dates are fixed.

  • Prices didn't move in 2026. Pukka Up's September prices were the same as May to August's, Float Your Boat listed a single €49 boat-only price, and Oceanbeat a single €86 Standard price. Early or late, you paid the same.
  • September was still a good month, but the boats left an hour earlier: Pukka Up at 17:00 in September and October, and Float Your Boat's meeting point closed at 16:00 in September.
  • 2027: none of the three has published dates. Pukka Up's Ibiza page says "Club Packages to be confirmed for 2027!" and shows no 2027 dates; Float Your Boat's site still sells 2026 cruises; and Oceanbeat's prices are listed as valid until 15 October 2026.

The weather variable

Boats cancel for bad weather, and the policies differ, so check before you book. Float Your Boat offers a new date or a refund if a cruise is cancelled for weather. Pukka Up's 2026 event terms say a sailing may be rescheduled within 24 hours for weather or technical reasons without a refund, although its general terms promise a full refund if it cancels. Oceanbeat's terms say it may reschedule within 24 hours with no refund, and it refunds only if an event is cancelled with no alternative. Don't book a boat for the last day of your trip; if it gets pushed back, you've missed it. Slot it in the first half of the trip.

What to bring: the genuinely useful list

Every boat-party listicle tells you to bring sunscreen. Here's the version that matters:

  1. Some cash in small notes, for tips and the taxi back when your phone's gone underwater.
  2. Biodegradable sunscreen: better for the sea.
  3. A dry bag or waterproof pouch for phone, keys, cash. Non-negotiable.
  4. Shoes for a wet deck: flip-flops slide. Espadrilles or low-heel sandals with grip.
  5. A light layer: sunset is colder than you think, especially if the boat's still moving back.
  6. Not your own drinks. Check the operator's rules first: Pukka Up's 2026 terms say "No outside drinks allowed", and Oceanbeat doesn't allow outside food or snacks. You may not need them anyway: Oceanbeat's Standard ticket includes water, beer, sangria and soft drinks from the bar for three hours, and Float Your Boat's FAQ says its boat-only ticket includes an open bar with soft drinks.

What I'd skip

Three heads-ups:

  • Tickets from anyone but the operator. Every operator sells direct, and Oceanbeat recommends booking with it for the best available rates, instant confirmation and direct support.
  • Turning up late. On Pukka Up, missing the wristband deadline lost you boat and club entry, with no refund.
  • Assuming the club entry is the club you want. Oceanbeat's free club entry rotates between clubs, among them Ushuaïa, Hï, Club Chinois and Es Paradis, and Pukka Up's Amnesia packages leave out Amnesia's opening and closing parties and some special nights.

Combining a boat party with the right club night

Best move: line up the boat with the club that same evening. Combinations that worked in 2026:

  • Pukka Up + Amnesia: Pukka Up sold the pair as a package (€80 in 2026), with Amnesia entry valid before 12:30 AM, and the boat was back about three hours after it left, which gives you a proper dinner window.
  • Float Your Boat + its own club combo: Float Your Boat's combos include Eden on Saturdays and Es Paradis. Don't plan it around Pacha's Solomun+1: that was on Sundays (31 May to 4 October in 2026), and Float Your Boat's sunset party only sailed on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
  • Oceanbeat + Hï: the boat checks in on Playa d'en Bossa, the same strip as Hï, so there's no cross-island taxi in between. Oceanbeat's free club entry rotates, so Hï isn't guaranteed: check which club your date includes.

Questions

How much did an Ibiza boat party cost in 2026?

Float Your Boat was €49 boat-only, or from €79 with club entry. Pukka Up was €65 boat-only, or €75–95 with O Beach and/or Amnesia. Oceanbeat was €86 for its Standard ticket, which includes a 3-hour open bar, or €109 and €129 for its VIP tiers. For groups, private boats on Click&Boat ran from €218 to €1,635 a day.

When are the 2027 boat parties?

None of the three operators has published 2027 dates yet. Pukka Up's Ibiza page says 'Club Packages to be confirmed for 2027!', Float Your Boat's site still sells its 2026 cruises, and Oceanbeat's prices are listed as valid until 15 October 2026.

Which Ibiza boat party is best for first-timers?

Pukka Up. It has been running since 2003, the three-hour sunset boat from Sant Antoni is the classic format, and every 2026 ticket included a two-hour pre-party, a welcome drink and two sangrias.

Are party boats allowed in San Antonio?

GOV.UK's Spain travel advice says local laws in parts of some Balearic resorts, including San Antonio, ban open bars and the organising of pub crawls and party boat trips. It doesn't say exactly which streets the ban covers. Pukka Up and Float Your Boat both leave from Sant Antoni's Passeig de la Mar; Oceanbeat checks in at Vanilla Beach on Playa d'en Bossa.

Do Ibiza boat parties get cancelled for weather?

Yes, and the policies differ. Float Your Boat offers a new date or a refund. Pukka Up's 2026 event terms allowed a reschedule within 24 hours without a refund, and Oceanbeat's terms say the same, with a refund only if an event is cancelled with no alternative. Don't book a boat party for the last day of your trip.

Should I book a boat party direct or through a third-party site?

Direct, from the operator's own site. Every operator has one, and Oceanbeat recommends booking with it for the best available rates, instant confirmation and direct support. Oceanbeat's site is now oceanbeat.com.

Do the boat parties publish their DJ line-ups?

Not date by date. In 2026 none of the three published a line-up for each sailing: they list their residents and past guests. If one DJ is the only reason you're going, ask the operator before you book.

The honest final word

Boat parties are overhyped for some people and underrated for others. If you came to Ibiza for the music (the deep crate-digging residencies, the long techno sets), boat parties are a distraction. If you came for Ibiza as a whole, one decent boat is essential.

The trap is doing too many. One per trip is enough. Two is the maximum before they blur and you've burned through the energy you needed for the clubs. Pick the operator that matches your group, book early, bring the dry bag.

Corrections

  • : Re-checked against the operators’ own 2026 pages and terms and GOV.UK’s travel advice, and rewritten. The cheapest ticket was Float Your Boat’s, at €49 boat-only or from €79 with club entry, not €70–110. Oceanbeat was €86, €109 or €129, not €80–130, and its €86 ticket already includes a 3-hour open bar. Float Your Boat’s sunset party sailed only on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and an hour earlier in September; Pukka Up left at 17:00, not 18:00, in September and October. Oceanbeat lists a maximum of 200 guests, not 300, so it isn’t the biggest boat of the three. Float Your Boat’s sunset party couldn’t be paired with Pacha’s Solomun+1, which is on Sundays. Prices didn’t drop in September: all three listed the same prices all season. Pukka Up allows no outside drinks, so the advice to bring your own water is gone. Cala Saladeta is a stop on Float Your Boat’s own cruise, so it’s gone as an example of where only charters can go. Added GOV.UK’s advice that local laws in parts of San Antonio ban open bars and organising party boat trips, and where each operator leaves from. Removed Es Codolar, Boatjump, the charter and bar prices, Float Your Boat’s capacity, the crowd ages, claims about food, sound and quiet corners on board, the booking lead times, the marketplace mark-ups, the line-up timing, and the warnings about “VIP catamaran” listings and early-season boats, which no source states. None of the three has announced 2027 dates.
  • : Pukka Up runs a three-hour sunset cruise from Sant Antoni, from €65, not a six-hour trip to Formentera, and its packages are with O Beach and Amnesia. Float Your Boat’s sunset trips are back around 9 PM, not 11 PM. Oceanbeat leaves from Vanilla Beach on Playa d’en Bossa, not Sant Antoni. Removed “Ibiza Boat Party”, an operator we couldn’t find, and Ibiza Boat Club from the charter companies: it’s a party boat. Removed a claim that the ranking came from boat days on the editor’s trip: the guide was written in April, before the boats’ season. Also removed unsourced claims about themed weekends, cancellation policies and a sunscreen rule, and unsourced percentages.
